Hoag Breast Cancer Resources and Classes

Hoag offers a variety of support programs and resources to help you and family through cancer, and into a healthier life. We encourage you to take advantage of these complimentary services and support persons.

Breast Cancer Classes

Hoag provides a wealth of educational resources designed to address the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of breast cancer patients throughout survivorship. To register for upcoming classes and programs click here or call 949-722-6237.

Breast Cancer Support Group

Designed to provide mutual support for coping with the day-to-day issues of diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. The group meets the third Tuesday of each month from 12-2 p.m. in the Hoag Cancer Center Auditorium. Register for the Breast Cancer Support Groups.

Young Women's Breast Cancer Support Group

Beach Cities YSC @ Hoag - a Young Survival Coalition (YSC) affiliate. A new program for young breast cancer survivors under 50! A meet and greet event will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. in the Patty & George Hoag Cancer Center, Radiation Oncology Lobby. View event flyer. Future meetings will be held on the 3rd Monday of every month, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Patty & George Hoag Cancer Center.

Oncology Support Services

Breast Cancer Nurse Navigators

A Clinical Nurse Navigator dedicated to breast cancer patients, serve an important role as facilitator and guide.Hereditary Cancer Program - Hoag offers a comprehensive Hereditary Cancer Program that offers genetic counseling and genetic testing by two certified genetic counselors.

Cancer Dietitians

Special to Hoag Family Cancer Institute are two dedicated Registered Dietitians available to answer your nutritional questions and provide resources for a healthier diet before, during and after cancer treatment.

Physical Therapy

Hoag’s licensed physical therapists provide treatment to improve movement, restore function and/or relieve pain during and beyond cancer treatment.

CARES Program

The Hoag CARES Team is here to provide an extra layer of support to patients and families facing the challenges of serious illness to minimize suffering and improve quality of life through services such as symptom management, emotional support and advance care planning.

Pastoral Care

Hoag's Pastoral Care provides spiritual support & counseling services to patients, families, and the community.

Patient Financial Services
