The Fudge Family Acute Rehabilitation Center (FFARC), located on the third
floor of the West Tower of Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport
Beach, is a state-of the-art rehabilitation center providing customized
programs to help patients improve function, attain their greatest level
of independence and return to community living. Our world-class facility
offers intensive rehabilitation to maximize your independence and quality of life.
Available to adults who have been treated for neurologic or orthopedic
issues, traumatic brain injury or stroke, our 18-bed 21,000 sq. ft. center
provides comprehensive care with 24-hour nursing, full time medical director
oversight and a team of certified experts. We also provide state-of-the-art
equipment and access to Hoag education programs, as well as treatment
in the therapy garden and a putting green.
Our mission as a nonprofit, faith-based hospital is to provide the highest
quality health care services to the communities we serve. The FFARC utilizes
an interdisciplinary approach focused on high level assessments of functional
health patterns, establishing mutual patient/caregiver goals targeted
at providing optimal functional outcomes resulting in the over-all well-being
of the patient through the achievement of realistic goals using current
research and evidence based strategies.
