This visitor information area provides information to help you and those
close to you during a hospital stay.
Visiting Hours
Visitor Policy Update as of June 9, 2020
At Hoag, our patient care philosophy depends greatly on engaging families
to be part of the healing process. For the continued health and safety
of our patients, visitors and staff, and in accordance with guidance from
state and local health officials,
we are currently enforcing a “Limited Visitor” policy at our
hospitals. There are only a few exceptions. Please visit the

General Information
The Information Desk is located inside the main entrance. Attendants are
available to assist with room direction and other information.
Parking
As of July 1, 2014, Hoag Hospital Newport Beach has implemented a new parking
program. For information or directions for Hoag Hospital Newport Beach,
please visit the
Patient & Visitor Parking page. This program only applies to Hoag Hospital's Newport Beach campus
and has not been implemented at Hoag Hospital Irvine or Hoag Orthopedic
Institute at this time. For directions or more information about those

Patient Billing
A customer service representative is available to answer specific financial
questions or to receive a payment Monday through Friday in the lobby of
the Women's Pavilion. Telephones/Cellular phones and pagers may be
used in the hospital except in the critical care areas (ICU, CCU, CVICU
and Sub ICU).
Smoking
The Hoag Campus is smoke-free - no smoking is allowed.
Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs)
ATMs are available in the convenience center in the cafeteria and on the
main floor next to the Health Resource Center.
US Mail Drops
US Mail drop boxes and stamp machines are located at the main entrance
of the hospital and in the convenience center.
Concerns or Questions
If there is a concern regarding patient care, please notify the caregiver
or a supervisor. Patient Relations representatives can assist with patient
rights, problems or concerns. The Patient Relations staff is available
from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at 949-764-8220. If
you need immediate assistance after regular business hours, contact the
charge nurse or nurse supervisor. They can be reached by calling the hospital
operator at 949-764-HOAG (4624).
