What to Expect
Following a thorough assessment by the licensed admissions liaison and
medical director, our team discusses your health and works with you to
create a customized, treatment plan based on your short-term and long-term goals.
Treatment
A combination of physical, occupational and speech therapy will be provided
at least 3 hours per day, usually in the morning and afternoon. Lunch
and rest period are at mid-day. Based upon your needs, you may receive
additional therapy during the weekend.
Length of Stay
Your length of stay will vary based on your diagnosis. Our clinical team
works with you to determine an estimate based on your plan of care. On
average, patients stay anywhere from 12 - 14 days.
Visiting Hours
While hospital visitors are welcome 24/7, general visiting hours for the
Center are recommended to be 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
and Noon to 8:30 p.m. on weekends and holidays. Visiting hours are tailored
to allow for uninterrupted sessions with limited distractions.A primary
caregiver may stay with the patient and will observe or be involved in
therapy on scheduled days at the request of the patient.
What to Bring for Your Stay
- Tennis or workout appropriate shoes with interchangeable laces
- Comfortable clothing you can move around in
- Undergarments
- Personal care items
Shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush and toothpaste will be provided.
