Jill M. Panitch, MD

Genuine. This one word perfectly describes Dr. Panitch and her approach to patient care. As a daughter of a physician, Dr. Panitch was introduced to medicine at an early age and shared her father’s enthusiasm and curiosity for the field. She approaches medicine with dedication and joy, and loves to work with patients of all ages to help them reach their health goals.

Dr. Panitch chose Family Medicine as her specialty as it allows her to approach each patient as a whole person. She enjoys providing integrated and customized health care solutions in a collaborative style. She is focused on treating each person holistically, ideally incorporating preventive strategies and addressing concerns before they become a problem.

“I am fascinated with the mind-body connection. In my practice, I enjoy listening to my patients and getting to know them so I can provide the high-quality health care experience they deserve.” says Dr. Panitch. “Additionally, I have a strong interest in Integrative Medicine and am a firm believer in complementary approaches such as yoga for stress reduction as well as other modalities to address health concerns.”

Dr. Panitch received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and completed her residency at Sharp Family Practice Residency in San Diego, California. She is fluent in medical Spanish and brings her caring disposition to Hoag Medical Group and is excited for the opportunity to serve the local community.

A resident of Laguna Beach since 2001, Dr. Panitch loves to spend time at the beach with her husband and two children. She also loves practicing yoga, hiking, reading, and being outdoors.
