NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., June 12, 2017 — This spring, Hoag welcomes three new services to its health care village in Irvine making it easier than ever for individuals and families to access Hoag’s renowned services and programs.
“We have seen an incredible response from the community since opening Hoag Health Center Irvine last year,” said Marcy Brown, vice president of Hoag Hospital Irvine and Ambulatory Services. “We continue to listen to the needs of the community and have brought in new services to our Irvine campus which further allow us to provide a patient experience that is highly personal, seamless and convenient.”
Joining the renowned specialized services and providers currently available at Hoag Health Center Irvine are:
- Hoag Sleep Center Irvine featuring the same cutting-edge services for sleep disorders currently offered in Newport Beach at the Judy & Richard Voltmer Sleep Center, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, biofeedback and relaxation techniques to help people regain the rhythm of natural sleep.
- Breast & Ovarian Cancer Prevention Program addresses the needs of “pre-vivors,” women who don’t have breast or ovarian cancer but have an increased risk of developing the disease because they have a known genetic mutation. By drawing together a multidisciplinary team of experts in breast surgery and imaging, gynecology, meditation, fitness, nutrition, mental and sexual health, the new program is taking a more holistic approach by educating and empowering high risk women throughout the community.
Also new to Irvine, Hoag Rehabilitation Services has opened a second location, bringing the same high quality care and services from Newport Beach to the Irvine community. The new Hoag Rehabilitation Services is located in the 10-story tower adjacent to Hoag Hospital Irvine and across the street from Hoag Health Center Irvine, and includes a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech language pathologists.
“Adding these services to Hoag’s health care village in Irvine enhances the provision of high quality health care services to the community where and when they need it,” said Brown.
