Dr. Buehler is the author of two books, including
What Every Mental Health Professional Needs to Know about Sex, and multiple articles about sexual health. She has been quoted in the media,

for psychotherapists and nurses seeking specialized training in sex therapy
and counseling.
When not working, Dr. Buehler enjoys photographing landscapes, visiting
art museums, traveling around the Southwest, hanging out in good restaurants
with her husband Mark, family and friends, and scratching her parrot’s neck.
