Robert Louis, MD, is a neurosurgeon and program director of the skull base and
pituitary tumor program at
Pickup Family Neurosciences Institute at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, Calif.
Dr. Louis' expertise includes endoscopic and minimally invasive treatment
of benign and malignant brain tumors, sellar and parasellar tumors, as
well as skull base tumors.
He graduated from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine
in Coral Gables, Fla.
Following medical school, Dr. Louis completed a neurological surgery residency
at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and a fellowship in minimally
invasive neurosurgery at John Wayne Cancer Institute in Santa Monica, Calif.
He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress
of Neurological Surgeons and Foundation for International Education in
Neurosurgery among other organizations.
