Kathleen currently serves as the clinical supervisor at our Irvine location. She has been a pelvic floor therapist at Hoag Rehabilitation Services since 2011.

Kathleen is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist (WCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She graduated with her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Chapman University in 2008 and received her Bachelor’s degree in Physiological Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2005.

She has extensive training in various manual therapy techniques and exercise for pelvic pain, voiding dysfunction, pregnancy and postpartum conditions. She is skilled in treating pediatric patients ages 5 and older. She finds pelvic health physical therapy as a specialty where she can integrate her knowledge and passion for multi-system physiology and biomechanics with treatment of the musculoskeletal system to improve a patient’s quality of life. She believes in a multidisciplinary approach to care, developing personalized treatment plans, and helping patients understand their body systems to nurture change and healing. She is committed to continuing education and learning current evidence-based practices to provide highly skilled care for her patients.

She has participated in research project efforts for the development of clinical practice guidelines for Rehabilitation in Adult IBD. She also enjoys being involved in inter-disciplinary collaborative program development initiatives to improve pelvic health and wellness in the community.

Kathleen has been a speaker and panel member alongside physicians and other healthcare providers in topics of continence and sexual health for community education. She has also been featured in the Orange County Register and Yoga Journal to improve community awareness on pelvic floor dysfunction and physical therapy.

She is a proud mother of two boys and enjoys most of her free time with friends and family.
