Duopa Therapy

Duopa provides a promising new treatment option for Parkinson’s disease patients suffering from these motor fluctuations and other disabling symptoms, because it’s administered directly into the small intestine, bypassing the stomach, through a procedurally placed tube connected to a portable infusion pump. This new method of delivery enables patients to receive a continuous dose of carbidopa and levodopa for up to 16 hours daily.
