Dr. Bahram Eslami, M.D.,F.A.C.P, F.A.C.C.,a cardiologist and Chief of Cardiovascular
Services at the Jeffrey M. Carlton Heart and Vascular Institute in Irvine.
Dr. Eslami specializes in cardiovascular disease with emphasis on the
prevention and treatment of disease, lipid disorders, hypertension, valvular
heart disease and invasive cardiology.He is certified by the American
Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine,cardiovascular disease
and cardiovascular computed tomography (CT).
Dr. Eslami’s practice philosophy follows the basic principles of
evidence and scientific based medicine with an altruistic and compassionate
approach. His long career in teaching and research, his extensive experience
with complex cardiovascular cases in major medical institutions and private
practice, have provided him with deepknowledge across many fields of cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Eslami received his medical degree from Isfahan University School of
Medicine in Isfahan, Iran where he graduated at the top of his class,
and went on to complete an internship at Greater Baltimore Medical Center
in Maryland. He completed his residency training at the Medical College
of Georgia and a cardiology fellowship at the University of Alabama at
Birmingham.
Throughout his career, Dr. Eslami has been named a fellow of the American
College of Cardiology (FACC) and the American College of Physicians (FACP).
He is a member of the American Medical Association and the Orange Country
Medical Association. Dr.Eslami co-authored a book entitled “Cardiology
Review” and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.
A compilation of his work has been presented at various scientific meetings
and he is a noted guest lecturer at national and international societies/communities.
In addition, he serves as a lecturer at Tehran University, National University of Iran.
