Esophageal Cancer Research & Clinical Trials

Clinical Trials

Through a special alliance with USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, Hoag Family Cancer Institute is able to provide Orange County residents access to clinical trials only found in academic institutions.

Hoag and USC Norris are currently offering the following Phase 1 Clinical Trial for Esophageal Cancer patients. A Phase 1 Clinical Trial is a trial that is new to the market. When laboratory testing shows that a new treatment may help treat cancer, Phase 1 trials are then completed to find out how much of the drug is safe to administer, determine the side effects, and the efficiency of the treatment.

We encourage patients to review the requirements for the trial, and contact Hoag with any questions at 949-764-5543.

With questions, please contact Hoag's Clinical Trials department at 949-764-5543.
