Susan Martinez, B.S., earned a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and a Minor in Human Resources Management from California State University, Long Beach. Susan is pursuing her Master’s degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Community Health education. Susan is trained in Mental Health First Aid, Suicide Prevention, and Trauma-Informed Care and utilizes a person-centered approach when working with clients. Throughout her career, Susan has gained experience in case management and in connecting community members with a variety of services to aid in their mental and physical health. To connect clients to a variety of community resources, Susan utilizes her interpersonal skills and knowledge of different community resources. As an advocate for low-income, uninsured and underinsured communities, Susan is committed to improving their health and well-being. Her passion lies in improving public health issues and promoting health and wellness in vulnerable communities. Susan is fluent in English and Spanish.
