About Saru Sachdeva, MD
Hailing from a family of doctors, Dr. Sachdeva knew from an early age that she would follow the footsteps of her family members and pursue a career as a physician. She draws on her childhood influences and value system to provide exceptional care to her patients on a daily basis.
Dr. Sachdeva chose the field of rheumatology as she enjoys the problem-solving aspect of treating autoimmune conditions. She appreciates the opportunity to develop relationships with her patients and help them overcome their health challenges. Additionally, Dr. Sachdeva is very optimistic about the medical advances in her field over the past two decades which makes her profession even more gratifying.
Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, Dr. Sachdeva has been practicing medicine for nearly 15 years and entered the field of rheumatology over four years ago. When it comes to patient care, she aims to provide the best care possible as she knows it is an honor and privilege to be responsible for her patients’ well-being. As she states it best, “My job affords me the ability to promote good health and make a difference in each patient’s life. It is rewarding to watch my patients improve their health and be by their side every step of the way.”
Dr. Sachdeva attended medical school in India and went on to complete her Internal Medicine residency at Akron General Medical Center in Akron, Ohio and her Rheumatology residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California.
Fluent in Hindi and Punjabi, Dr. Sachdeva enjoys spending her time away from the office with her two young sons whether it is bike riding or going to the movies.
