Kim Noviello, CBPN-IC, CRT, ARRT (R), (M), BS

Kim is the Breast Imaging Navigator at Hoag Breast Center Irvine. After her internship at Harbor-UCLA, she began her career in 1991 as a certified technologist in radiology, mammography, and ultrasound. Her background as a breast center supervisor at various southern California imaging centers and her contributions in establishing three separate breast centers in Orange County make her uniquely qualified for her role as a Breast Imaging Navigator. Kim became certified in Imaging Navigation and Cancer Navigation in March of 2012 and joined the Hoag team shortly thereafter. Kim’s primary role is to provide physician/patient support when delivering biopsy results to patients. She is responsible for coordinating any additional imaging needed and works directly with referring physicians to schedule surgical consultations. Since Kim was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008, she comes from a place of compassion and empathy in her dealings with the newly diagnosed patient. She understands, on a very personal level, what it means to receive a diagnosis of cancer and the common fears associated with that diagnosis. She lets the patient know the Hoag team is behind her/him and will guide and support them through their journey.
