Earlier this month, Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian opened its ninth urgent care facility in Orange County, Hoag Urgent Care & Family Medicine at Los Olivos Marketplace. Managed by Hoag Medical Group, Hoag Urgent Care & Family Medicine will be open 363 days a year, seven days a week, including evenings and weekends, treating urgent or unexpected conditions, ranging from the common cold and coughs, to cuts, and broken bones. Hoag Urgent Care & Family Medicine will also provide scheduled primary care appointments. According to the announcement, by combining primary care and urgent care in one location, patients benefit by experiencing seamless continuity of care, reducing the need to follow up with a primary care physician, and providing more convenient care.
