HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – October 2, 2014 – Huntington Beach residents 55 and over are invited to attend a day of good times and good health on Wednesday, October 15 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Hoag Health Center Huntington Beach. The Hoag Senior Health Fair will feature free flu shots, medical screenings and informative presentations by Hoag medical staff and physicians of Hoag Medical Group.
In preparation of Medicare Open Enrollment beginning October 15, a comprehensive Medicare Basics class will be presented at 10 a.m. Registration is required for this complimentary event.
Surf City Seniors On The Go will provide complimentary transportation for residents in Huntington Beach and the first 400 participants will receive a gift bag.
Some of Orange County’s most respected physicians will be on hand to discuss a wide-range of topics and provide free screenings. Skin cancer screening and carotid artery screening will be available. Space is limited for these screenings, and advance appointments are required. Other complimentary topics and screenings include blood pressure/BMI screening, vision, hearing, fall risk assessment, stroke prevention and more. No appointments are needed.
