Hoag Hospital Newport Beach is an acute care, nonprofit hospital located
on California's Orange County coastline between Los Angeles and San
Diego in Newport Beach.

specializing in care for cancer, heart and vascular, neurosciences and
women’s health, and orthopedics through Hoag’s affiliate,

General Information
The Information Desk is located inside the main entrance. Attendants are
available to assist with room direction and other information.
Patient Billing
A customer service representative is available to answer specific financial
questions or to receive a payment Monday through Friday in the lobby of
the Women's Pavilion.
Smoking
Hoag is a smoke, vapor and tobacco-free campus. No smoking is allowed.
Automatic Teller Machines (ATM's)
ATM's are available in the convenience center in the cafeteria.
US Mail Drops
US Mail drop boxes are located at the main entrance of the hospital and
in the convenience center in the cafeteria.
Concerns or Questions
If there is a concern regarding patient care, please notify the patient's
caregiver or a supervisor. Patient Relations representatives can assist
with patient rights, problems or concerns, interpretation of hospital
policy and procedure, or lost items. The Patient Relations staff is available
from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at
949-764-8220. If you need immediate assistance after regular business hours, contact
the charge nurse or nurse supervisor. They can be reached by calling the
hospital operator at
949-764-HOAG (4624).
At Hoag, our patient care philosophy depends greatly on engaging families
to be part of the healing process. For the continued health and safety
of our patients, visitors and staff, and in accordance with guidance from
state and local health officials,
we are currently enforcing a “Limited Visitor” policy at our
hospitals. There are only a few exceptions. Please visit the

In a preventative effort to protect our patients and help reduce the spread
of the COVID-19 virus, Hoag has temporarily closed the gift shop until
further notice.
The Gift Box features an array of specialty items including cards, magazines,
clothing, fresh flowers and snacks. The Gift Box is located on the Lobby
Level of the Sue and Bill Gross Women's Pavilion.

Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Saturday, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Sunday, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

There are several nearby hotels and short-term lodging facilities in Newport
Beach and Irvine. Family members of patients at Hoag can also receive
a special rate at some of the local hotels.
