Becker's Hospital Review named Hoag to its list of 100 Hospitals with Great Heart Programs for 2016.
The Jeffrey M. Carlton Heart & Vascular Institute offers services at Hoag. The institute features operating rooms, including the Bob & Marjie Bennett Hybrid Cardiovascular Surgical Suite, which the cardiac care team utilizes to perform non-surgical transcatheter aortic valve replacement. Magnet-designated Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian also houses eight catheterization labs where physicians can diagnose and treat various heart conditions. In 2016, Truven Health Analytics recognized Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian as a Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospital in the nation. The hospital is a Blue Distinction Center+ for Cardiac Care.
