Vibrant Colors, Vibrant Health

On May 22 join Dr. Nadeau and Hoag Medical Group for an “out-of-the-blue” educational presentation that provides an overview of the health benefits of adding brightly colored fruits and vegetables including diabetes and cancer prevention, as well as brain and joint protection. This talk will open your eyes to the benefits of beautifully colored whole food.

Without color, life itself would be impossible. The colors in fruits and vegetables allow them to survive in a sea of ultraviolet irradiation and when consumed fresh they convey to us powerful protective properties that slow aging and protect us from common diseases. For example strawberries reduce the inflammation associated with heart disease, spinach reduces the risk of blindness, cherries are great for arthritis, and blueberries protect from Alzheimer’s disease.

The talk will also touch upon the advantages of vitamin D and omega-3. This presentation will empower you to use color to make informed nutrition decisions for a brighter future.
