The Hoag Bariatric Surgery Support Group is open to patients who have undergone weight loss surgery as well as those who are considering the procedure. The group shares personal insight and real-world experiences about the Bariatric Surgery weight loss journey and provides an informal setting to ask questions and hear various perspectives. Many patients find that support groups help them adjust to the changes in their lifestyle following surgery, increasing their chance of maintaining their weight loss long term. The learning, sharing and support received from peer groups is a great way to stay motivated, making it easier to reach and maintain your goals than if you try to do it alone.

The support group is hosted by Hoag clinicians. Potential patients, past and current patients, family and friends are welcome.
