Dori Holnagel, MBA, is the Vice President of Clinical Institutes. In her
role she provides administrative leadership for a significant portfolio
of clinical programs including Women’s Health Institute, Hoag Family
Cancer Institute, the newly launched Digestive Disease Institute, the
Precision Medicine Program, and the Thyroid program.
Ms. Holnagel is an experienced leader with significant strategic, operational
and programmatic knowledge. She has served as the Executive Administrator
of Hoag Family Cancer Institute, where she planned and implemented the
new vision for our integrated, world-class cancer program. Prior to this,
Ms. Holnagel was the Executive Director over Pickup Family Neurosciences
Institute where she developed the first Community Early Cognition Program
in the nation, and helped the hospital receive a Get With the Guidelines
(GWTG) Gold Plus Award in Stroke Care as well as many other state and
national accolades.
She earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Management at California State
University, Northridge and her MBA from California State University, Long
Beach. In addition, she holds an Associates degree in Science Radiology
from Delta College in Saginaw, MI, and a Radiation Therapy, RTT, degree
from UCLA/VA Wadsworth School of Radiation Oncology.
For 20 years, Ms. Holnagel has exhibited progressive leadership in neurosciences,
orthopedics and cancer, with a track record of success in gross revenue
growth within a highly competitive marketplace. Her significant level
and depth of collaboration with physicians has resulted in reduced cost,
national recognition and more efficient systems. She is admired for her
passion for patients, commitment to developing future leaders, and ability
to nurture deep relationships with physicians and partners.
Ms. Holnagel is active in many professional organizations, including the
American Healthcare Executives (AHCE) and the Society for Radiation Oncology (SROA).
