Mental Health Services

Under the Department of Community Health, the Mental Health Center at Hoag Hospital has been providing outpatient mental health services since 1998. The goal of the Mental Health Center is to improve the health and well-being of the surrounding underserved community, through the provision of psychotherapy services. These services are intended to increase an individual’s level of happiness, level of satisfaction and functioning in life. The Mental Health Center provides low cost psychotherapy on a sliding scale for those who are uninsured or underinsured and low income. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
