Kanoe Martin, RN, BSN, earned her Bachelors of Science in Business at California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Vanguard University. Previously, she worked in the Aerospace industry for eight years before becoming a stay-at-home mom to two wonderful boys. She found her true calling in nursing as a second career, especially in her current role as a Faith Community Nursing Coordinator for Hoag Faith Community Nursing. She believes Faith Community Nursing is essential because it combines the mind, body and spiritual care that integrates clinical knowledge and intentional faith-based care on a global scale that produces a tremendous impact on community health. Kanoe also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, cinema, walking and good food.
