    Safety and Efficacy of Adjunct Therapies in Adults with Type 1 diabetes: Multicenter, Registry Study

    What is the purpose of this study?

    To evaluate safety and efficacy of adjunct therapies (weekly GLP-1RA and SGLT-2i) in adults with type 1 diabetes.

    Eligibility

    Adults>18 years of age

    Clinical diagnosis of type 1 diabetes

    Weekly GLP-1RA or SGLT-2i drug prescribed by their provider for any indication as part of usual care with use for no more than 1 week (or anticipated to use in 1 week)

    Use of CGM at least 3 months and willing to share CGM data for the 3 months prior to the study and throughout the study.

This program is based on the CDC’s Diabetes Prevention Program and is team-centered, integrating personalized nutrition, exercise and behavioral change plans for people with pre-diabetes.

    The Mary and Lee Iacocca Program in Type 1 Diabetes focuses on meeting the unique needs of all people living with T1D. Whether it’s the Herbert Program for Young Adults with T1D, pregnancy counseling, or support groups for people of all ages, our goal is to help patients and their supporters navigate the financial, psychological, social and medical aspects of type 1 diabetes.
