Young Adult Mental Health Program - Irvine
16100 Sand Canyon Ave., Suite 150
Irvine, CA 92618
The Hoag Young Adult Mental Health program is a specialized 8-week program designed to support young adults aged 18-28 in developing essential coping skills for managing their mental health. The program is grounded in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), a highly effective therapeutic approach that equips participants with practical tools to handle life’s challenges and enhance their overall well-being. The group structure fosters a sense of community and peer support, allowing participants to share their experiences and learn from one another in a safe and nurturing environment. The program runs three days per week—Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—providing a balanced structure for participants to integrate therapy into their daily lives while maintaining other commitments such as work or school. This program is not group therapy; it’s educational skill coaching.
Program Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Evidence-based therapy: Group sessions using DBT and CBT
Multidisciplinary care team: Therapists, psychiatrists, and social workers
Judgment-free environment rooted in empathy and encouragement
