Arterial Stenosis (Carotid, Vertebral, or Intracranial)
Arterial stenosis, or narrowing, of the blood vessels in the neck or brain, if severe, can result in stroke. Treatment of the narrowing will markedly reduce the risk of future stroke. This can be done using balloon angioplasty and stenting.
