About Dr. Valerie C. Sheppard
Bio
Dr. Sheppard is originally from the Seattle area. She attended college in California at Claremont McKenna College where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Anthropology.
She received her medical degree from Loma Linda University and completed her residency training at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital. After residency, she was honored to serve as a teacher, mentor, and advocate for residents at Loma Linda University as a chief resident.
Dr. Sheppard is experienced in outpatient and inpatient care.
Her special interests include newborns, care of twins/multiples, and ADHD management. She has a passion for community service and international medicine. She led her residency’s volunteer program and spent a month giving medical presentations in Hangzhou, China.
Dr. Sheppard is the proud mother of boy/girl twin infants. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children, traveling, hiking, and musical theater
