Sofia S. Aljilani

Sofia Aljilani, MD is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and Palliative Medicine Specialist who completed her fellowship training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.

As an Orange County native, she is excited to serve the community at Hoag. Dr. Aljilani believes the best care begins with understanding the person behind the illness, combining a broad perspective on healthcare with close attention to the day-to-day symptoms, goals, and experiences that matter most to each person.

She is dedicated to serving as a trusted medical expert and source of support for patients and their loved ones during some of life’s most challenging moments while taking a holistic approach that integrates their relationships, values and priorities.

She values forming meaningful relationships with those facing serious illness, providing compassionate and personalized guidance throughout their healthcare journey.
