Shayan Senaati

The inspiration to become a physician was ignited in Dr. Senaati by a deep-rooted desire to help others by preserving wellness. He feels fortunate to have the opportunity to help his patients and has found his mastery of medical knowledge can be tailored to help enhance the health of the community.

Dr. Senaati is driven by an unwavering curiosity to fundamentally bridge the sciences and humanities to find practical ways to help people live their best life. He enjoys learning the latest offerings in technology to help innovate and enhance the patient care experience, while not losing sight of the human component to health care. He shares, “I feel that family physicians are particularly well-suited to be leaders of health in their communities and bring innovations in medicine to the frontlines of primary care for all patients.”

In his practice, he employs a detail-oriented, yet empathetic, approach that starts with learning the rich context of each individual patient's life and experiences, and then synthesizing a treatment approach that is uniquely and collaboratively designed to best meet the needs of each patient. It is important for Dr. Senaati to bring the latest evidence-based medicine to his patients.

Dr. Senaati received his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California and completed his family medicine residency as the Chief Resident at John Muir Health in Walnut Creek, California.

Beyond his medical practice, Dr. Senaati finds joy in playing tennis, snowboarding, photography and videography. Additionally, you can find him learning how to surf and play guitar.
