About Dr. Shawn R. Hansberry
Bio
Dr. Shawn Hansberry joined Newport Harbor Anesthesia Consultants Medical Group, Inc. and Hoag Hospital in 2016. Since that time, he has served on NHAC’s Finance Committee, Performance Improvement Committee, as well as the Education Committee. Dr. Hansberry received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, in Boston, Massachusetts and was a surgery intern at Brown University at Rhode Island Hospital. He completed his anesthesiology residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center serving as Co-Chief Resident and completed his Adult Cardiothoracic Fellowship at Duke University Hospital.
Dr. Hansberry is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist as well as Board Certified in Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography.
