About Dr Scott G. Ahl
Bio
Dr. Ahl has always had an intrinsic passion to improve, to constantly evolve and be the best version of himself. He brings this passion to Hoag Medical Group, serving as an Endocrinologist, who is focused on helping his patients be the best version of themselves and improve their lives along the way.
Practicing since 2015, Dr. Ahl chose the field of endocrinology as it provides him with an opportunity to study interesting diseases, consider treatment options and craft a care plan for each patient. He considers all aspects of his patients’ health, including mental, emotional and social health, when making his recommendations to ensure it is addressing the patient’s individualized needs.
In his practice, he is able to help his patients by providing education to enable them to manage their disease and empower them to make the best decisions. As he states, “I enjoy establishing relationships with my patients and earning their trust. I am grateful I can have a positive impact on their lives and it brings me great joy when my patients are able to achieve their goals.”
Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Ahl attended Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his residency at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and finished his endocrinology fellowship at Medical College of Wisconsin.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ahl enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, watching sports, traveling and playing the guitar.
