About Dr Robert Kim
Bio
Dr. Robert Kim is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and joined the Hoag Medical Staff in 2026. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at Andrews University and earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine before completing his residency training at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan, a high-volume Level I trauma center.
Dr. Kim brings a global perspective to Hoag, having served as a medical consultant and volunteer physician for disaster response and medical missions in Nepal, India, and Nicaragua. His clinical background is further supported by research in diagnostic sonography and myocardial ischemia. A member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Dr. Kim is driven by a commitment to serving patients with both clinical excellence and genuine compassion.
