About Dr. Robert A. Moore
Bio
Dr. Robert Moore has been a physician at Hoag Hospital for nearly 20 years. During his tenure, he has been a part of the Sleep Committee and the Ethics Committee. Dr. Moore is also a key member of the staff at the Voltmer Sleep Center.
Dr. Moore also holds numerous distinctions outside of Hoag Hospital including being a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, National Board of Medical Examiners and an Accredited Clinical Polysomnographer since 1987. He is an active member of many organizations including the American Academy of Neurology, Orange County Neurology Society, California Medical Association and the Orange County Medical Association.
Dr. Moore maintains a private practice focusing on Neurology and is an Adjunct Clinical Faculty member at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center.
He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Yale University and went on to receive his medical degree in Neuroscience from the University of San Diego in 1979.
