At Pure Dermatology & Cosmetic Center, dermatologist Dr. Neda Mehr’s mission is to keep you young, beautiful & healthy! Under the direction of our award-winning medical director, Dr. Neda Mehr, MD FAAD a Board-Certified Dermatologist who was awarded “Top Cosmetic Dermatologist – Newport Beach”, and “Leading Physician of the World”, and was voted with an independent online survey as “Most Compassionate Doctor” you can rest assured that you will receive the best of both bedside manner, yet professional acumen. Dr. Mehr graduated Cum Lade from UC Irvine’s prestigious Bachelor of Science program, and graduated with Honors as she entered Medical School at UC Irvine. She was voted by her classmates as President of her medical school, and again during her final year as Student Body President of UC Irvines’ Medical School.
As a Southern California native, Dr. Mehr completed her Dermatology Residency at Loma Linda University, where she led her peers as Chief Resident in Dermatology, while specializing in cosmetic dermatology during her final year of residency training. She additionally has an extra fellowship year of training dedicated to the advanced treatment of Skin Cancers and Melanoma, and is an active Committee Member of Hoag’s prestigious Melanoma Cancer Center Advisory Board. Dr. Mehr is a member of the American Society of Mohs Surgery, and performs both Mohs surgery & Dermatologic surgeries within our in-office operating room suite.
