Mimi N. Hoang

Accompanying her grandparents to their medical appointments as a child gave Dr. Hoang a unique perspective from a young age of the profound impact a physician is able to make on a patient’s life. She personally witnessed that through education, coaching and building a strong rapport with patients that a difference can be made.

Dr. Hoang is passionate about primary care, specifically family medicine, because of the critical role it plays in preventive care and helping keep her patient healthy. She also enjoys the flexibility of family medicine and the ability to create collaborative environment when it comes to health management.

Empathetically building relationships with patients allows Dr. Hoang to stay connected with all aspects of their lives while simultaneously providing high-quality care. She shares, “I love the feeling of being able to make a difference in my patients lives and I do not take for granted that they trust me with their care.” She understands that every decision requires prioritizing the best interests of the patient and taking into consideration how all facets of their life contribute to the choices.

Fluent in Vietnamese, Dr. Hoang received her medical degree from Touro University Nevada in Henderson, Nevada and completed her family medicine residency at Riverside University Health System in Riverside, California.

When away from the office, Dr. Hoang enjoys spending time with her family, friends and puppy. She also loves exploring new coffee shops, finding local brunch spots and attending concerts.
