About Dr Michael R. Perez
Bio
Dr. Michael Perez is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and joined the Hoag Medical Staff in 2024. A proud alumnus of the University of California, Irvine, he went on to earn his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco and completed his residency at LA County + USC Medical Center, where he was selected as Chief Resident of Education.
Dr. Perez has been a leader in physician recruitment and digital medical education, serving as webmaster for LAC+USC's residency platform and as a founding member of their Diversity Committee. He is also a regular volunteer for the Keck School of Medicine Human Rights Clinic and the Los Angeles Marathon. A member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Dr. Perez is committed to equity, education, and compassionate emergency care.
