Bio
Dr. Matthew Kwon is a board-certified emergency physician who joined the Hoag Medical Staff in 2026. He earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and completed his residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System.
Dr. Kwon has held several academic roles, serving as teaching faculty for medical students at Providence Mission Viejo and for the PA program at Charleston Southern University. A member of the American Board of Emergency Medicine, he is dedicated to education and to delivering quality emergency care.
