About Dr Marjon Vatanchi
Bio
Dr. Marjon is a Double-Board Certified and Dual-Fellowship Trained dermatologist specializing in 4 different specialties/areas of skincare: Dermatology, Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Pediatric Dermatology, and Clinical Trials & Research. She completed her dermatology training at a rigorous residency program in New York City followed by an immediate faculty position at Brown University serving as Director of Nail Surgery & Special Procedures. Dr. Marjon has over 30 peer-reviewed publications in scientific journals, given numerous lectures at national conferences, and currently serves on multiple committees for the American Academy of Dermatology, Women Dermatologic Society, & the Dermatologic Society of Orange County.
Her passion is teaching patients about their skin. The core of her practice is dermatology but she likes to use an integrative medicine model emphasizing preventative practices along with traditional medicine. For conditions such as skin cancer and systemic diseases, it is best to have treatments with proven scientific methods that yield high cure rates. For elective or cosmetic treatments, it is wise to have a minimalist approach to ensure you walk away looking like your true self, just more refreshed. During your consultation, she will work with you to find that perfect balance. Outside of work, she enjoys plant-based nutrition, spending time outdoors, and working out whether it is hot yoga, strength training, or running.
