About Dr Jason Y. Lu
Bio
Dr. Jason Lu is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and joined the Hoag Medical Staff in 2024. He completed his undergraduate studies in Neuroscience at UCLA and earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center before returning to Southern California for his residency in Emergency Medicine at the UCLA/Olive View-UCLA Medical Center.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lu serves as Emergency Department Physician Lead for the Stroke Program at Providence Little Company of Mary. He has a strong background in medical education and research, with a particular focus on pediatric transport and neurological respiratory rhythms. A member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Dr. Lu is committed to advancing emergency care through both frontline practice and scholarly work.
