Grace E. Sollender

Growing up in a family where both parents worked in healthcare, Dr. Sollender was exposed early on to the profound impact medicine can have on people’s lives. That foundation, paired with a love of science and meaningful patient interactions, inspired her to pursue a career in medicine.

Dr. Sollender was coincidentally introduced to urology during medical school and quickly discovered her passion for the field, inspired by a mentor whose enthusiasm for the specialty was contagious. She was drawn to urology for its diverse scope of conditions, the opportunity for complex problem solving, and the ability to improve patients’ quality of life through both medical and surgical care. Her philosophy is rooted in collaboration and respect, and she is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where patients feel informed and cared for, especially when navigating sensitive health concerns.

Dr. Sollender earned her medical degree from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth graduating Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) and completed her residency in urology at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Outside of medicine, she enjoys long-distance running, road cycling, skiing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her partner.
