About Dr. Gary C. Carlson
Bio
Dr. Carlson is board certified in Internal Medicine. He was born and raised in Massachusetts and received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School in 1993. Dr. Carlson completed his residency training at the UCLA-San Fernando Valley program in 1996 and has been in practice in Newport Beach since then. He is a member of the Orange County Medical Association and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Carlson emphasizes prevention of disease by encouraging a healthy diet and exercise for his patients. He also has years of experience caring for diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. Dr. Carlson offers a concierge service for a limited number of patients.
Dr. Carlson is married to a local pediatrician and has two wonderful children. Outside of the office he enjoys bicycle riding, reading, and spending time with his family. He loves living in Southern California and taking advantage of all that Orange County has to offer.
