    About Dr Elena Keith

    Bio

A desire to understand how best to support the body and facilitate its natural ability to heal led Dr. Keith to osteopathic medicine. She values an approach that incorporates movement, osteopathic manipulation and medicine to support a patient’s overall health. Rather than being influenced by one particular mentor, she has taken lessons from the many teachers, colleagues and patients she has met throughout her journey, using those experiences to continually shape her practice and feed her curiosity.

She chose family medicine because it allows her to continuously learn and grow while caring for patients of all ages, backgrounds and medical conditions. The broad scope of the field gives her the opportunity to draw from many different areas of medicine and apply that knowledge in the outpatient setting.

Dr. Keith describes herself as empathetic and believes her role as a physician is to identify disease processes, help facilitate healing through the connection of the mind, body and spirit, and emphasize the importance of preventive care. She is passionate about helping patients better understand their health, see their situation from a new perspective and feel empowered in their care. Whether that means taking a moment to explain why a symptom is occurring or demonstrating a safe osteopathic manipulation technique a patient can use at home, she values creating clarity, connection and meaningful improvement.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Keith enjoys practicing Pilates and strength training, trying new foods and restaurants, dancing at concerts and music festivals, and getting lost in a fantasy fiction novel.
