Dean Q. Tran

Dr. Dean Tran is a hospice and palliative medicine physician who provides both inpatient and outpatient care. He completed his family medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente Orange County, followed by a hospice and palliative medicine fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles and the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center.

Dr. Tran is passionate about helping patients and families cope with serious illness. He strives to make complex medical information understandable and meaningful, while creating space for patients and families to explore what matters most to them. Through these conversations, he helps them consider how medical treatments can support their goals, values, and quality of life.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Tran enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, and experimenting in the kitchen.
