About Dr. Darrin M. Fryer
Bio
Dr. Darrin Fryer is a board-certified emergency physician who has been a member of the Hoag Medical Staff since 1999. Over his more than 30-year career, he earned his undergraduate degree from UC Santa Barbara and his medical degree from New York Medical College before completing his residency and internship at Kern Medical Center.
Dr. Fryer has been deeply involved in administrative leadership, serving on nominating, financial, and physician assistance committees. A member of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) since 1995, he also serves as a preceptor for multiple physician assistant programs, reflecting his ongoing commitment to education and the next generation of emergency providers.
