About Dr Daniel J. Ritter
Bio
Dr. Daniel Ritter is a board-certified emergency physician who has been practicing since 2017 and joined Hoag in 2022. He earned his undergraduate degree in Applied Physics from Brigham Young University and his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine before completing his residency at Michigan State University/Spectrum Health.
At Hoag, Dr. Ritter is actively involved in clinical leadership, serving on the Opioid Task Force Committee and the Palliative Care Steering Committee, and acting as the Emergency Department/LVAD program liaison. A former clinical faculty member at Sunrise Hospital and an active member of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), Dr. Ritter is committed to compassionate, evidence-based emergency care.
