Brett R. Lee

Dr. Brett Lee is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and joined the Hoag Medical Staff in 2024. He completed his undergraduate studies in Psychology and earned his medical degree with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine before relocating to Southern California for his residency at LAC + USC Medical Center, where he was selected as Chief Resident of Education.

With a strong interest in medical education, Dr. Lee has served as an ACLS instructor and a board-style question writer for emergency medicine learners. He has published extensively on orthopedic emergencies and pediatric care, and has volunteered his medical expertise at the Los Angeles Marathon and wound care clinics in underserved areas. A member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Dr. Lee is driven by a passion for teaching, community service, and excellent patient care.
