Ani B. Baghdassarian

As the daughter of a physician, Dr. Baghdassarian has had the privilege of being exposed to many facets of medicine since childhood. This experience combined with her volunteer work at local hospitals during college sealed her decision to pursue a career as a physician.

Dr. Baghdassarian chose internal medicine as her area of focus as it affords her the opportunity to look at each patient from head to toe and provide an integrated and customized healthcare solution. She enjoys helping people and not only wants to treat the current symptoms but also educate her patients about the importance of preventative care.

“I view healthcare as a collaboration between a patient and their physician. Not only do I address my patient’s needs and concerns, I also look at ways we can work together to achieve their health goals.” says Dr. Baghdassarian. “I am an avid learner and I am constantly looking for ways to help educate my patients and provide them with the most current knowledge and research.”

Dr. Baghdassarian received her medical degree from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri and completed her residency at UC Irvine Medical Center. She brings her cheery disposition and kind approach to Hoag Medical Group and is excited for the opportunity to serve the local community.

An Orange County native, Dr. Baghdassarian is well versed in conversational Armenian and Spanish. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, experimenting with photography, playing tennis, and being outdoors.
