About Dr Andrew R. Cunningham
Bio
Dr. Andrew Cunningham is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and joined Hoag in 2022. He completed his undergraduate studies at UC Davis and earned his medical degree from the USC Keck School of Medicine before finishing his residency training at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern.
At Hoag, Dr. Cunningham serves as Co-Chair of the Education and Equipment Committee and is the primary organizer and presenter of "Great Cases in the Emergency Department." His professional honors include the 2018 Lend Your Hands, Save a Life Award from the Chicago Marathon and recognition for Outstanding Leadership of Research College during his residency. A member of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), he is passionate about education and advancing the quality of emergency care.
