Andrea S. Takemoto

Dr. Andrea Takemoto is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and has been a member of the Hoag Medical Staff since 2021. She earned her medical degree from the University of Hawaii and completed her residency training at Olive View–UCLA Medical Center before pursuing advanced specialization through a fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound, also at Olive View–UCLA.

Dr. Takemoto has held academic appointments as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She is a co-founder of the Women in Emergency Medicine Professional Association and has been recognized with the "Golden Probe" award for excellence in clinical ultrasound. Originally from Hawaii, she is an active member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and is committed to innovation, mentorship, and exceptional patient care.
